About Us
Through our innovative farming methods, we achieve extremely cost efficient production that is environmentally sustainable, with a low carbon footprint.
THE DECAPOLIS VISION
Our vision is to be a leading provider of high-quality maize products, recognized for our sustainable and innovative farming practices that support the well-being of our local communities and the environment not just in Nigeria, but also on the global stage.
WHY DECAPOLIS AND MAIZEN
Nigeria food security situation depends on her ability to have 60% of her maize demand met, for protein-based items; eggs, broiler meat, cattle, and fish to be at a stable price, maize farming should be pursued aggressively while the security challenges linger, this will be an uphill task. One thing is certain when it comes to commercial maize farming, Decapolis conducted her market research and feasibility studies before choosing our current farm location for the commencement of our maize project in 2021 and we have been able to establish a value chain for our produce. Our long-term goal is to not only cultivate maize and sell it for consumption in farm markets and to retailers and consumers but to start a complimentary business, as well, by building a maize processing plant to process and package our maize, allowing us to contribute our quota to the global food security index that has been deteriorating, and thus threatening global food security, and more so to lift impoverished communities out of poverty, through provision of basic amenities.
